Oh I hasn't realized that the #MusicAssistant PWA shows up as a media player on my Pixel. That's cool.
guys claude code is cooking on this. helped that I already had qobuz hooked up to musicassistant but hey its working.
I wanted to assemble a playlist of all the great 90s albums mentioned in a recent quotechain. This is a mess of a process and I desperately want music cataloging and playlists on protocol to make it easier. Also we could prototype this with the permissoned data available in @happyview.dev today

Found out I can select all the songs from a Spotify playlist and add them to a Tidal playlist in #MusicAssistant. It's a little slow, but it works!

New #MusicAssistant beta has dropped. They are making some UI changes that look good. They also added the ability to change the sync intervals for providers, which will be very helpful to make some sync things happen more often than every 12 hours.

Getting Voice Commands to work with #MusicAssistant has always been tricky.
Today I was trying out the blueprint and script posted on this github.
I tried Option 2, but it kept failing with an error about "an unexpected character". Option 3 also had the same error.

spent all of today trying to get MusicAssistant set up on HomeAssistant but every step of the way, something didn't work, so I just said "to hell with it" and scrapped that idea, and sadly it's the only one that (supposedly) works to get voice commanded music without spending money per month

Now that I've been using #MusicAssistant a lot, I'm realizing staying with Tidal isn't completely necessary anymore. I went with it because it's the only Spotify alternative that can control Sonos speakers from an Android device.
It would suck moving again though.

I love the way #musicassistant now takes over the window from your #homeassistant when you’re using it, and it works just as well on the mobile app as it does in a desktop browser. A real UI/UX improvement. Nice work folks! 👌

Hmm, I've had this odd issue with Sonos and #MusicAssistant twice where the Sonos speakers are unavailable in MA. I then open the Sonos app and see a "Sign In to this system" message. Once I do, the speakers show up again in MA.

Nun kann ich via @homeassistant auch endlich das Radio auf dem HomePod Mini abspielen.
