Yay! I've been looking forward to MythAugust! ❤️
This month I will be talking about the Eleven Immortals of the Eternal Pantheon.
It is a polytheistic religion that arose quite suddenly and violently when the dragons vanished roughly 1000 years ago. 🧵

This week we're yapping about one god/spirit in particular.
Tell me about this god/spirit's symbols: what sorts of icons or imagery are associated with them? (Think Christ's cross or Odin's ravens.) What's the meaning behind these symbols?

Do they have their own home on top of a mountain or in the clouds? Down in the underworld? On another plane entirely? Inside that one really old tree at the edge of town?

Tell me about the authority figures among your deities' followers!
If there is an organized religion, who are the leaders? Is there one high authority, like the Dalai Lama or the Pope? Who are the gods' representatives in ordinary communities?

Because I feel like I have done some of my best recent worldbuilding in response to these prompts, and others like #Septopolis and #MythAugust
There is a lot of inspiration to be had here! It's been very fun!

I did a whole pile of stuff about the faith that the rest of the crew follow during #MythAugust (if you click on that and then 'see #MythAugust posts by user' you'll get a whole whack of extra info), but in brief, all of them pray (including in-text) and again, that's default for Sacaask folk
