This is Ariel Kellner.

"Whoever remains in the north, we will truly starve them"

"One goal: Nakba! A Nakba will overshadow the Nakba of '48. A Nakba in Gaza and a Nakba for anyone who dares to join!"

Zohran Mamdani becomes one of the first mayors in the US (and among a small handful of prominent US officials generally) to recognize the Nakba — the mass expulsion and forced displacement of 700,000+ Palestinians.

Connected directly with a Nakba survivor:

Lebanese francophone outlet L’Orient Le-Jour: the Nakba of South Lebanon.

We Lebanese are calling it for what it is: a continuation of the 1948 Nakba.

The photo shows a Lebanese village with an Israeli flag on it, planted by the genocidal army.

Francesca Albanese speaks for humanity when she speaks for Palestinians 🇵🇸:

‘It’s not 75 years since the Nakba. It’s 75 years OF the Nakba.’

It’s ethnic cleansing.
It’s genocide.

As I just said on CNN, my father's parents were Nakba survivors. I don't want Israeli children to live in fear and I don't want Palestinian children to starve to death. There is nothing anyone could do to make me put nationalistic talking points above basic human rights.

Nakba sticker spotted in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Palestinian “Nakba” (“catastrophe” in Arabic) refers to the mass expulsion of Palestinian Arabs from British Mandate Palestine during Israel’s creation (1947-49).

It is remembered every year on "Nakba Day", May 15.

After years away from game dev, I couldn’t stay silent about my people’s dehumanization. I made Dreams on a Pillow 🍉a game inspired by a famous Palestinian folktale about the 1948 Nakba.

I’m crowdfunding it now—please back & share!
