Dump NAPLAN.
There are better ways of knowing student progress. Multi millions of dollars are spent on the test & that doesn’t include extra tuition, teaching to the test, time not spent on actual real-life, rich teaching learning tasks, problem solving, collaborative peer work/assessments, creative endeavours.

It was the first school I was appointed to as a beginner teacher (many decades ago). Loved the kids there - quite a mixture of backgrounds then too.
