In 2021, I sued the State of Illinois. I was sick of being misgendered and deadnamed by judges. I was sick of judges ordering me to present as male in their courtrooms. I was sick of judges demanding I show them my genitals. I was sick of clerks calling cases by my deadname and outing me in court.

We absolutely do need public education campaigns on a variety of important topics. What we do not need is a government that uses the purse strings to stifle debate & censor/control the NGO sector.

The thing is, at least a lot of these organizations should be nonprofits, and I don't know why that wasn't the first assumption on the path forward for social spaces.
Ngl the craziest part of these sorts of queer businesses is the part where they keep begging for money online. Maybe I’m just a far right neoliberal free marketer but my understanding is businesses get money by selling goods or services
