When I lived in Las Vegas, the weather reports from NWSVegas advising high heat would stress that heat events were the most dangerous weather events, harming more people than storms or floods. And it seemed weird that the public (me) didn't know that. But I think I figured out why.

( #NWSVegas): WOW! Today's (3/25) high temperature of 98°F was not only a NEW RECORD for March 25th, it's also a NEW RECORD for March (previously 97°F - set 5 days ago), and with today’s record, our streak of record temperatures has extended to 8 DAYS – our LONGEST ON RECORD! Whew! 🥵

I got free speeched off twitter about a month ago (guess you can't call elmo a little bitch) and I wasn't willing to accept the terms of surrender. in that time I've noticed 1) I'm far less on edge and 2) my phone battery lasts far more (less doom scrolling). I do miss NWSVegas tho.
Translation: expect to see a lot more of those Nazi accounts in your feed
