My father was diagnosed with kidney cancer stage 4 about 30 years ago. The doctors gave him 2 years max to live. He got into a number of trials at the #NationalCancerInstitute at #NIH. I honestly believe that he lived five years not two because of the trial treatments he was in at the #NCI.
