We'll be stopping at places like historic Nihonmachi in Seattle, the INS building (the predecessor to NWDC), Boeing Field (which facilitates deportation flights for ICE), White River Buddhist Temple, Puyallup Fairgrounds (once called Camp Harmony, a temporary detention site for JAs in WWII)

Thank you to our friends at Wing Luke Museum for giving Densho a guided tour of Side by Side: Nihonmachi Scenes by Tokita, Nomura, and Fujii. We loved seeing Densho materials in use, illustrating the historical Japantown neighborhood these artists depicted in their paintings.
