As for why not move everyone to our primary OCONUS hospital supporting CENTCOM in Landstuhl? Capacity, contingency, and return to duty. There's no reason to overload LRMC if you have the capacity in theater - and the standard of care at these PN hospitals is very good (we assess all of them).

The majority of PMC work is this sort of bland shit. This is also, generally speaking, the absolute spiciest work you can get without having completed at least one contract with a Tier 2+ US SOF unit. This was CONUS. I actually was down for a similar OCONUS contract and then Ukraine happened.
