#ORD-ATL
Maps of the Delta and United cuts loaded so far, as interpreted from the FlightAware cancels reports.

Not all frequencies on these routes, and decent chance things continue to shift. But this is what I'm seeing right now.

Ozymandias watch:

-Airports have three letter codes. LAX ATL ORD, etc
-They don't get changed. DC National was re-named for RReagan but remains DCA.
-One famous exception: Idlewild, IDL, became JFK in Dec 1963.

Now another exception. Palm Beach Internat'l PBI is now DJT.

Blueskyism is when you arrive at the airport 4 hours before your ATL-ORD flight boards because you’re anxious about how busy it might be
The children are doing something called “airport theory” on TikTok where they get to the airport really late and then marvel when they sometimes make their flights anyway. I would like to be the opposite of whatever this is, please

Hosting a World Cup without JFK, LGA, EWR, ORD, LAX, SFO, BOS, PHL, ATL… go on, touch the stove

This is a fun #AvGeek game. I'm going to steal it.

This is a map of all the flights I've flown on one aircraft type. Can you guess which one?

If you're at a hub, particularly ORD or ATL or DFW, the chance is small but not zero. I have been randomly spotted! That said, I didn't have a distinctive face and also I tend to hide out in the airport lounges, so you'd probably miss me more often than not even if we're there simultaneously.
I wonder what the probability of seeing you in any given airport is on any given day? As much as you travel the odds must be higher than the lottary at least!

We’re going to see our new home fully finished for the first time.

Wait till it starts affecting ATL, MCO, DEN, LAX, CLT, JFK, DFW and ORD. Airlines will start screaming at congress and the white house.

My prediction for 2025? IATA airport code baby name craze. Lax, Ord, Atl, Den, Ewr, it's all there for the taking.

I like that we preference a few things in our civilization with special shortcodes; Airports (ATL, MIA, ORD), Languages (JP, CN, EN)

Never had an issue at ATL, but ORD, DCA, and SEA are *rough*

I've been to PHL twice now but honestly can't remember either time 👴🏼

Heathrow is terrible, but not much more so than ORD, DEN, ATL, or others that *millions* of travelers without PhDs make their way through each day. (Not to mention the real nightmare, Frankfurt.)
November 11, 2025 at 9:26 PM
All it takes is a slow down at two or three of the following airports LGA, JFK, EWR, ATL, DFW or ORD. And you have a total meltdown of the system. That happened in the last shutdown. And an agreement was reached immediately afterwards.

Volaris to commence 3 new routes:

• Guadalajara (GDL) to Atlanta (ATL)

I lost these glasses somewhere between ATL and ORD earlier this year 🥲 and wow my hair used to actually be long.

Anyway, there was a tornado in Atlanta this day in January

Evidently my on-tarmac delay In ATL was caused by the wet guy departing ORD at our scheduled arrival time. Our pilot is remarkably nonplussed about chance we could still evidently be diverted to Milwaukee.
September 28, 2026 at 12:11 AM
DFW, IAH, MIA, ATL (depending on how you're measuring it), who else? Mayyyyybe SLC or PHX or DTW or CLT? MSP, SEA, SFO, LAX, DEN, LAG, JFK, BOS, ORD, IAD, PHL all v blue.

ATL is the busiest airport in the world, a delta hub, and has never let me down the way ORD has
