Nearly every mobile game I’ve ever worked on is gone, “sunsetted” rather than made playable on current OSes. Their titles mean nothing to recruiters and hiring managers, let alone players. Even if players remember them fondly, they couldn’t play them anymore if they wanted to.
If you're curious what a non-preservationist gaming ecosystem looks like, you can look at the mobile stores, where most of the shit you remember does not exist in any form anymore.

But the difference from other OSes is that those things are because someone hasn't written the software yet.

Android's hardware attestation shouldn't be used to lock out users not using specific hardware or OSes. However, the fact that it permits arbitrary roots of trust and OSes at least allows services to permit more. Google could use it to permit GrapheneOS for Play Integrity if that was about security.
