That always seemed reasonable, say near kitchen entrances and similar.
We keep them indoor the vending area at most highway rest stops here.
I’ve just never known a serious outdoors type to use a trap for anything, always repellents. Sprays or, if you can afford, heated repellent dispensers. :)
