They’d claimed his heart.' -- Rhys Beaumont I love Rhys's and Tony's families. The way they welcome newcomers and the abundance of love they show is so heartwarming. For as loud and crazy as the Moretti's are, they're the kind of family I wish for. I feel like the ending came too soon, and I wish there was at least one more chapter as them together as a family. Extra... settling in time to Jess's new room wouldn't go unappreciated either. 😘 I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Oliver Highpoint, Marina Barrett, and Theo Sinclair, are all good. I burrow further into his chest like he’s my safety blanket. -- Ava Ava is running from a domestic situation that isn't pretty. She's strong yet fearful. Sadly, her parents' lack of trust and support is expected, but it doesn't make it any easier to witness. I love that she puts herself first instead of considering their crazy notions. I love how she acquires Conan. Even better is her convincing Reaper to let her have him. I love that his biggest concern is her safety and how the dog makes her feel. It's sweet. 🫠🥰 In other news, not only does she literally clean house, but I love how Ava plays a part in the other cleaning of the house. Sayonara, bitches! I read along the audio book. The narrators are Oliver Highpoint and Brooklyn Young. They are great to listen to. I really enjoyed it! 🎧🩵🎧 Story: 4 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x
