As much as I don't like the deception that starts their relationship, it isn't long before I'm forgetting about it and become invested in this family. The way baby Leo takes to her and vice versa makes my heart melt. And I absolutely love how she and Lorenzo build a relationship - one game of blackjack or soak in the hot tub at a time.

I like that karma comes to collect from a few folks. It really couldn't have happened to more deserving people.

I listened to the audio book. The narrators, Leanne Woodward and Theo Sinclair, are really good and easy to listen to. I enjoyed their performances. 🎧💛🎧

I admittedly feel bad that Roman (Wreckage, Romance) Nikitin feels like he has to closet himself like he does. It obviously weighs on him that he doesn't feel like he can admit who he is even to himself. It's heartbreaking that anyone is made to feel this way about themselves.

And then there's Val Bancroft. Oh, I knew in an earlier book that I read that there were things brewing with him, and he doesn't disappoint. He's dark and fun! I love his comfort with himself. I also love how he's not only vulnerable with Roman, but he provides a safe space for Roman to be vulnerable with him.

They each engage in what Val calls, "non-consensual distanced hangouts," commonly known as stalking. That and the banter between the friends keeps things entertaining. 😂 They are ridiculous in the best ways.

Prior reading is encouraged but not required. Also, there are plenty of triggers, as things get hella dark on more than one occasion, so check those as there are more than are identified in this review.

I listened to the audio book. The narrators, Theo Sinclair and Dane Anderson, are good choices for these two. Duet is, as usual, preferred, but I accept it isn't always an option, like here. They are great to listen to regardless. 🎧❤️🎧

This starts in one of my worst nightmares. Jess Monroe and her adorable son, Jasper, are without a place to call home. It's sad how realistic this is and how easy it would be for so many to find themselves in the same situation for an equally easy reason.

Even though a bit high handed on occasion, I love how protective Rhys Beaumont and Tony Moretti are about Jasper and Jess. It's quickly apparent that they are willing to do practically anything for their new housemates.

I love Rhys's and Tony's families. The way they welcome newcomers and the abundance of love they show is so heartwarming. For as loud and crazy as the Moretti's are, they're the kind of family I wish for.

I feel like the ending came too soon, and I wish there was at least one more chapter as them together as a family. Extra... settling in time to Jess's new room wouldn't go unappreciated either. 😘

I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Oliver Highpoint, Marina Barrett, and Theo Sinclair, are all good. I've listened to all of them multiple times and enjoy them. 🎧 💙🎧

Maddox Meadows and Amelia King are oil and water, and I LOVE it! Yes, he's absolutely exasperating. Yes, they move things along with some speed. But, my attention is focused on them.

Based on some early interactions, I expected this to have more BDSM elements. While minorly disappointed, I think this is a great read. The sizzle and different relationships are fabulous. The righting of past hurts doesn't always go to plan, but I love how Maddox keeps trying.

The timeline overlaps 'Night Fall to First Light' in the companion series, Fallen Demons MC. Both are shared series from Janine and EC Land. I already read the other book, so I came into this familiar with many of the characters and Della and Shadow's story. There is a chance for a lot of questions if you only read this one, but reading the other isn't required.

I listened to the audio book. The narrators, Theo Sinclair and Harlow Wilde, are wonderful in duet. I enjoyed everything about their performance. 🎧💚🎧

This is an emotional rollercoaster from page one. How many times in one book can I allow my heart to be broken? It turns out that the answer is higher than I'll admit. 😭🤧😭

The death of several loved ones is the biggest contributor to my heartache. Still, the love that starts as friendship and morphs over several years between Xander Thompson, Delilah Cross, and Cole Andrews is sweet and innocent, which leads to some excellently steamy times.
