onconnect runs when it's connected to the DOM
onupdate runs on rerenders
I followed other DOM on* apis (fns are bound to the node)
Pull any npm lib, initialize it directly on the node 🦄

The DOM has this API onEVENT
We now have
onconnect: works with any node, runs when the node is connected to the DOM, and can return a function for cleanup
onupdate: is used at the root node and runs when sync() is called

Here's a quick example where the first few things inherit from lib.dom and show standard DOM props
Then when onconnect (which is framework specific) you get a bunch more details because it's a new thing

I don't mind `this` but it can be abstracted away with no impact and doing so cuts down on boilerplate 💆
you still get IDE hover defs, high fidelity source-maps and debug the code you write regardless

Short of that. It will probably follow the footsteps of other frameworks.

The video also shows how high-resolution sourcemaps simplify debugging
Pinpoint function calls and trace them in the original code while in dev and get the benefit of highly minified, transpiled, and compressed JS in production

The Counter fn can still be async and can call server RPC fns
async RPC calls are still batched
The new things for now are
- create as many isolated instances as you want
- pass initial data
- tiny, fast, targeted renders you control
