#OnePlaceHealthcare
Ooh thanks Pam! This will come in very useful for next year’s Shared Endeavour #OnePlaceHealthcare too! I’ll add it to our resource list

Tomorrow’s #AATP theme is Health and Medicine. I’m sure one-placers will want to refer back to these during the @oneplacestudies.bsky.social’s #OnePlaceHealthcare ‘shared endeavour’ next year. So it’s no coincidence that as a platinum sponsor, SOPS is sponsoring tomorrow!

I have been thinking of just that! The Medical Officer of Health’s role was so all-encompassing, that it’s so hard to even cover the important points in 12 minutes or less… It’s a role that isn’t often talked about, & no longer exists (in that form) so it would be useful for #OnePlaceHealthcare

In other news, I didn’t bring a coat…but I don’t think I’ll need one. Here I am arriving at The National Archives. Very excited to be doing some research on my AATP talk on medical officers of health…though as my talk is already too long, it may not make the final cut!

I’ve decided on my 2027 #AtoZchallenge theme. Thinking about the fascinating discoveries I made at The National Archives recently, & my #Sudbourne causes of death project, I’ll be blogging on the theme of @oneplacestudies.bsky.social’s ‘shared endeavour’ - #OnePlaceHealthcare!

…& as we have a #OnePlaceHealthcare #SharedEndeavour next year, any research will contribute towards that. #Sudbourne had a village hospital for 6 years. Maybe the chap in Rillington who had a private asylum? But I think you’ve already researched him!
