Actully yes. I began with investigating my own DNA sequence using bioinformatic tools, so nowadays it ia inseparable part of diagnostics and R&D.

Examples of tools which I have used:
-Golden Helix GenomeBrowse
-OpenCravat
-AlphaFold
-DynaMut

And plan to learn molecular dynamics simulation.
