Absolutely grotesque. YouTube has made a feature where they train an AI on your voice, and according to the FAQ it's opt out, but if I go to opt out there's… no opt out, because I haven't been opted in yet. At some point they're just going to turn this on, at a different time for every account.
So there are signs that the very unethical autodubbing feature YouTube is rolling out will be opt-out instead of opt-in. Found these on their FAQ pages for it, so please keep an eye on your channels if they ever push the dubbing to be auto-enabled.

Absolutely grotesque. YouTube has made a feature where they train an AI on your voice, and according to the FAQ it's opt out, but if I go to opt out there's… no opt out, because I haven't been opted in yet. At some point they're just going to turn this on, at a different time for every account.

If parents can opt-out of lessons & books with LGBTQ themes, we should be able to opt out of lessons & books with GOP themes.

There is no opt out. You can opt out of video mixing, but then your video doesn't get pushed to the shorts feed.
