🧼 I have to thoroughly wash all the chlorine off my skin and scalp to avoid a #psoriasis flare and ensure quick hydration of the skin. Plus, I have to completely dry my #OstomyBag - because nobody wants a damp crotch situation.

Over the past several days my #stoma #detelescoped to being almost #flat. This has been #frustrating. So today I change my #OstomyBag. To help I used a tiny bit of #PasteStrip from a partially empty box from several stomas ago instead of the usual #PasteRing. #OstomyBagSystem #IBD

I wear a #HollisterInc #OstomyBag (# 89811). Noticed yesterday while getting 1 from a new box that they've been changed or in Hollister lingo "updated". They're still fairly close to old 1s but the differences aren't insignificant. Are they truly updated? Only time will tell. #OstomyBagSystem #IBD

I wear a #HollisterInc #OstomyBag (# 89811). Noticed yesterday while getting 1 from a new box that they've been changed or in Hollister lingo "updated". They're still fairly close to old 1s but the differences aren't insignificant. Are they truly updated? Only time will tell. #OstomyBagSystem #IBD
The #OstomyBag I put on yesterday didn't even last 24 hours due to my #stoma being a bit hard & swollen. My new ostomy bag's circumference is 37 mm x 32 mm. My stoma's most vertical point was 28 mm & its most horizontal point was 30 mm. Hope it shrinks some. Feeling #frustrated. #OstomyBagSystem

The #OstomyBag I put on yesterday didn't even last 24 hours due to my #stoma being a bit hard & swollen. My new ostomy bag's circumference is 37 mm x 32 mm. My stoma's most vertical point was 28 mm & its most horizontal point was 30 mm. Hope it shrinks some. Feeling #frustrated. #OstomyBagSystem
My #stoma #telescoped a bit today, but thankfully I was able to get it #unelescoped. Sadly though it's since gotten a bit hard & swollen necessitating a change to a new #OstomyBag that ended up needing to be held on by some strong #SkinTape. All this has left me feeling a wee #frustrated.

My #stoma #telescoped a bit today, but thankfully I was able to get it #unelescoped. Sadly though it's since gotten a bit hard & swollen necessitating a change to a new #OstomyBag that ended up needing to be held on by some strong #SkinTape. All this has left me feeling a wee #frustrated.
Some days I empty my #OstomyBag when it's a wee bit full, & other days I let it get really full 1st cause I'm tired of spending time on the toilet. But like tonight, sometimes my really full ostomy bag leaks before I can empty it. We can only handle what we can handle. #leakage
