So all Russian powerplants are legal targets, just ramp up the bombing of same things that the murderous nation does.

Ballistic attacks are not to 'distract' from battlefield losses, they are psychological terror; to punish civilians, to cause pain and fear.
Destroyed powerplants mean more misery.

Crazy idea: Wind and solar powered datacenter that transfers heat into steam generators that return the electricity to the grid.

They can use seawater in the same way Nuclear powerplants do in which the water doesn’t get contaminated. The steam generators will take most of the heat from the water

Made one of my students' head explode today by explaining that Nuclear Powerplants still operate by just boiling water into steam.

"Nuclear Powerplants are just giant steam engines…"
- My student as his understanding of the world came crashing down.

It is Merz administration doing anything to hampering the transformation to renewable energy in germany and even Europe. His economic minister cut investements in batteries and electric net infrastructure while funding new powerplants for natural gas. amidst a global fossil crisis. 🤯

If #Russia keeps attacking #Ukraine ’s powerplants & grid this winter, in order to plunge it in darkness & cold, it is IMHO fully justified if they attack Russia’s power infrastructure in exactly the same way. They should start with all of the thermal power plants around #Moscow & #Leningrad.

Just waiting to find out the cooling functions of nuclear powerplants are also remotely accessible because employing an actual person wasn't deemed cost-effective 🤦🏻‍♀️
Cyberattack on France’s national blood service (EFS) via its refrigeration contractor Coolworld. Hackers reset freezers keeping blood donor samples at -30°C to a target of 110°C. The thing that stopped it from destructive impact was an on-call technician who noticed the temperatures going up.

World events aren't going to go the way you think. Trump's war with Iran will escalate into a global war with billions not millions of people dying.
1. After the election Trump bombs the major bridges and powerplants in Iran. Effectively ending Iranian civilization.
2. (see below)

Like why are we building powerplants for fucking data centers? Imagine if we put a nuclear reactors worth of electricity into doing something useful.

Solar Panels Are Now Producing So Much Power That They're Leaving Nuclear Plants in the Dust
Solar energy will soon account for 10 percent of the world's energy generation, as nuclear power gets precipitously more expensive to build.

Punch in Snopes Yandex bots into Google. It will say there's no evidence to support this claim. Bombing Russian datacenters hasn't reduced the amount of territory Russia holds in Ukraine. It only emboldened Russia to strike powerplants and infrastructure ahead of winter.

Say NO to the Permitting Reform Bill!
The U.S. Senate recently introduced the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act. The measure would severely weaken longstanding protections under the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Environmental Policy Act. If passed, this harmful bill would allow dangerous projects – such as pipelines, powerplants, and data centers – to move forward with less environmental scrutiny and fewer opportunities for public input. Tell your members of Congress to vote NO on permitting reform! Section 401 of the Clean Water Act provides states and Tribes with an important tool to help protect the water quality of federally regulated waters within their borders. This bill, however, would dramatically weaken states and Tribes rights to protect their own local waters. The bill makes it easier to fast track dangerous projects like extracting coal and oil, harvesting deep sea beds, and constructing new pipelines without adequate environmental protections. It also undermines the Endangered Species Act by exempting some projects from review entirely. If passed, these reforms could also prohibit future administrations from implementing new rules to combat climate change, severely limiting future presidents from addressing the climate crisis and controlling pollutants. This bill becomes even more concerning when seen through the lens of...

If I were inclined to try and reconcile those sources I'd point to the Zaku FZ and Gelgoog Jaeger and say these were simply high-performance low-endurance within the limits of One Year War rocketry and powerplants, in the time-honored Gundam tradition of only loosely caring about the source material

When it comes to classic Mopars, collectors usually hunt the Hemi-powered cars. These cars are rare regardless of the nameplate and model year. However, some Mopars don't need Hemi powerplants to be ultra-rare. The Rapid Transit System cars, for instance, are one-off creations.
