Paleolithic turns 10 next year (😵‍💫), and my third print run finally sold out so as a treat I sent it out to @diskettepress.com to do a special one color (brown) riso edition for the 4th run. Look how cute!

Tool-assisted transformative terror! DNA separation on Commodore 64! A vile visitation from @lgr-yt.bsky.social! Horribly hairless heads with passion for prehistoric programs and Paleolithic processors provide sixty minutes of spine-tingling technology... if you dare face it.

My potential is wasted living in this era. Paleolithic would have been my jam.

Ross Douthat looks like somebody reconstructed his face after finding his Paleolithic skull at the edge of a melting glacier
Bari Weiss's resident hack Ross Douthat made a complete fool of himself on 60 Minutes, trying to claim the Saudi lobby has the same grip on Washington as AIPAC. Abdul El-Sayed immediately crushed him: 'AIPAC spent $33 million against me alone! Name another lobby doing that.' It has to make sense!🗳️🌊

She’s such an Islamophobe. Nancy needs to go back to the Paleolithic era where she belongs.

Every once in a while I stop to think how mind-boggling rich I am by the standards of the paleolithic. Then I return to complaining.

(Although it's stupidly difficult to source decent stone suitable for Acheulean tools)

It is usually referred to as an elk, but it’s not certain what animal it represents. The geometric pattern dates it to the Late Paleolithic to early Mesolithic period when zigzag lines in various combinations were used to decorate hunters' weapons, personal tools, amulets, and other items

I like when they do recreations of paleolithic hominids and they're just some guy who looks like a chill hang.

It took a while, but researchers believe they now have a molecular marker to reliably spot Denisovan fossils.

I'd be interested to see the scientists who interpret European paleolithic art (Think cave art, carved atlatls, tiny animal carvings, etc) interpret modern work that is skill-wise reminiscent of Paleolithic work. We go through a stage of art while learning that looks a lot like our ancestors' art.
October 27, 2026 at 3:04 PM
Yeah, before my time, that. Paleolithic, wasn’t it? 😏

If I keep obsessing over paleolithic caves I might need to learn to read French.

The way these tech-wobbles frame it is that without generative AI we're all going back to some Paleolithic-type existence of pictographs & tin can telephones, nevermind that just 15 years ago we had a lot of what we have now, but without AI bullshit, data centers, & deep-fake nonsense. Screw them!

A Halloween Hypothetical: if there was a deer with one leg dangling off in my backyard, and when my wife called animal control they sent a cop to shoot it, but the deer can stand so the cop isn't allowed to shoot it, is it more humane to dispatch it the Paleolithic way rather than let it starve

the racist and ableist intellectually disabled caveman jokes would be funny if they were paleolithic forrest gump type jokes

I mean, it really does have a "paleolithic" energy to it. It's good.

My current zero-tolerance, anti-Zuck stance means I cannot see the name of sculptor(?)/ceramicist (?).

Any chance you can help a horse-obsessed woman out?

As advance thanks, here’s the earliest 3-D horse depiction ever:
