Second this. I used to work at the USAF Pararescue School at Kirtland. These peeps are amaze amaze amaze.
If you ever meet an Air Force PJ, buy them a drink.
They’re some of the bravest MFs you’ll ever meet.
They’ve been at this all day trying to find the WSO, despite taking fire every time they go out.

This may be the most liberal (laudatory) of the films
One notes they made Anthony Mackie’s character a pararescue guy, the most lib-coded of the special forces!

Rewatching WINTER SOLDIER and Cap’s first reaction to Fury’s super fleet is “I have some due process concerns”

Not military, but many years ago I heard it stood for Pararescue Jumper (aka pararescue that jumped out of a plane to get to the wounded.)

USAF Pararescue giving their commanders an almighty get-out they fundamentally do not deserve, for a pilot who should never have been put in this situation to begin with.

I maintain that the best SOF is the Pararescue. SEALs are a bunch of overrated jackasses who spend more time human trafficking and having books ghostwritten than contributing to the war effort.

Basically I think there should be as many firefighter/pararescue/doctor games as there are cop/soldier/border patrol games.

For f***’s sake, if this were my family member, this incompetent administration would be forced—if necessary—to deploy Delta Force, Navy SEAL Team 6, the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Army Rangers, Marine Corps Raiders, Navy SEALs, Green Berets, and Air Force Pararescue to bring them home.

21st ranger corp specializes in pararescue and wildlife management. Day 1 on Rathis they give every tourist rules to survive on Rathis. If they have to come save you they're going to be understandably grumpy with you. #scifiart #ttrpgcommunity #art #aliens #indiegamedev #pararescue

We shouldn’t be there. This shouldn’t be happening. Neither the pilots nor their rescuers should carry this risk.
That aside, most people don’t even know they exist but these are the folks who do this job. I know them. They’re amazing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...

Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today.
A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field.
Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission.
The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Skydivers alert emergency crews, assist after plane crashes near East Troy airport
Four people were aboard the single-engine plane when it went down in a cornfield near Carvers School Road in East Troy at about 1:30 p.m.

What these pararescue jumpers and coast guardsman do is nothing short of incredible. After 20+ years of GWOT I think we forget that we have (had?) a lot of military assets that are solely in place to save lives and help people. #HATM

The US did more damage in Afghanistan than Israel did in Gaza, or Lebanon or Iran and Israel has its own 9/11 every single MONTH.
The US went way overboard in Afghanistan and then Iraq.
