First post here on BlueSky , starting it off with my most recent Nomad Sculpt project on the IPad . Did a color study initially in procreate based off of anAriel Perez piece , then starting blocking in the 3D in nomad . Currently printing a bust on my PeoPoly printers !

Working on my peacock-feather holder.
Modelled in nomad sculpt and printed on the peopoly phenom (resin printer).

Primed and painted in gold. Then did a wash in dark brown to make the gold look less stark. Not done just yet

After realizing it was shaking my wall more than my washing machine, I got my Peopoly Magneto X set up on 60lbs worth of pavers to dampen the vibrations with everything sitting on sorbothane vibration isolation feet.

No more vibration problems :D

A peek at my pin making process. I start with a 2d image, and convert it to 3d in Blender. From there I 3d print the pin on my resin printer and polish it til it shines, then make a mold to produce the pins from! Details in alt text

A 2d design of my potion bottle shaped pronoun pin. I start my designs in Sai Painter 2 using their vectoring tools, then use Inkscape to convert those shapes to SVGs for use in Blender a 3d render of my potion bottle pronoun pin, made in Blender. After converting my 2d design to an SVG, I model the final pin A 3d printed copy of my pixel heart pronoun pin. I use Siraya Navy Grey resin on a Peopoly Phenom Prime resin printer to bring my creations to life. A mold made from my pixel heart pronoun pin with pink and blue glittery resin sitting in it. Once the master is polished up I make molds of it to reproduce the pin in a variety of colors

My #Peopoly #MagnetoX arrived earlier today.

Damn this was a chore to get up to the 2nd floor on my own, through a narrow staircase, at 40+kg. The delivery driver didn’t want to help unfortunately, and it’s too big to wait on the ground floor… ☠️

Not me failing at physics when realizing I need to couple the 3D printer to the paver to take advantage of inertia to reduce vibrations. Just means I have an extra set of sorbothane pads now.

Oh and yes, the acceleration on the Peopoly Magneto X is enough that I have to do this. It’s amazing 😆
