After much digging, I managed to figure out the identity of an RMC cadet in a photo based only off of the inscription on the photo. Who'd think that "Bill '66" would be enough to identify someone some 94 years later... And it's a VERY early Karsh photo, taken within months of his shop opening in '32

This one time I was on an archeological dig in Norfolk and we cycled to the nearest town in the evening and passed this almost completely concealed ww2 pillbox, we snuck in for a look and it was basically a fox's killing floor, the whole thing full of pheasant and wood pigeon bones and feathers
