platelet test came back from 2 days ago, almost a normal platelet count!! yay :3
i have ITP, which is a chronic (in my case) disease where my body attacks my platelets. at one point my platelet count was so low, i took a blood test for a platelet count and they couldn't detect any platelets in my blood, the count came back 0 (that caused a good week's hospital stay).

Anyway this tidbit is why SSRI’s can increase bleeding risk!! They inhibit serotonin uptake, which messes with blood platelet function, and have potential anticoagulant impacts!
