Book 16/?- Prophet Song by Paul Lynch

Bloody hell. I’ve only just picked myself off the floor after finishing the final third of this in a desperate thirst for some sort of redemption or hope. Absolutely brutal but I also want to press it into the hand of everyone I meet. Wow

This is an amazing book! It really shook me up quite a bit. I found myself thinking about the family and their struggles to hold on to “normality.” Beautiful language, too.
