Apparently Matthew Hopkins just appointed himself 'Witchfinder General', it was never an official position, people just went along with it. I think we should all take a leaf out of his book. I'm therefore appointing myself Cake Recipient Admiral of Putney, please act accordingly

LOL. Obviously very different politics, but this kind of reminds me of Jon Lansman on the telly on 2019 general election night talking about Labour taking Putney from the Tories, and it turned out to be literally the only seat in the entire country that Labour managed to take (while losing 60).

I got my answer. The roadway was still closed off. I used Battersea Bridge, for the first time since we moved to Putney in August. I wish they’d provide cyclists with information about this kind of thing.
