New Delhi, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday said it has attached fresh properties worth Rs 1,021 crore in the Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL) and Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL) case, taking total attachments in the Reliance Anil Ambani Group cases to Rs 20,367 crore under the provisions of PMLA. The investigation was initiated against RHFL and RCFL based on multiple FIRs registered by the CBI “pursuant to complaints filed by several public and private sector banks”. According to an ED statement, the investigation conducted so far revealed that “public funds amounting to Rs 15,548 crore raised by RHFL and RCFL were systematically diverted through a web of shell and group companies controlled and managed by the Reliance Anil Ambani Group”.

Mumbai, July 7 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday filed the first charge sheet in the Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd (RCFL) case against seven accused, including two Reliance Group companies, for causing a loss of Rs 4,097 crore to public sector banks, according to a statement issued by the investigative agency. The accused in the charge sheet, filed before the Special Judge for CBI cases, include Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL), and five former senior executives of RCFL, namely Devang Pravin Mody (Director & CEO), Ravindra Somayajula Rao (Director), Dhananjay Bhagwanprasad Tiwari (Director), Rajesh Krishnamoorthy (Executive Risk Officer), and Lav Chaturvedi (Chief Risk Officer), for offences of criminal conspiracy, cheating with intent to cause huge losses to public sector banks, the statement said.

Reliance Power said on Thursday that the recent enforcement agency action, as reported by media, has "absolutely no impact" on its business operations, financial performance, shareholders, employees or any other stakeholders. The media reports "appear to pertain to allegations concerning transactions of Reliance Communications Limited (RCOM) or Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL)", which are over 10 years old, said Reliance Power.  "It is clarified that Reliance Power is a separate and independent listed entity with no business or financial linkage to RCOM or RHFL," said Reliance Power.  Reliance Power is part of the Reliance Group, led by top businessman Anil Ambani.

New Delhi, June 22 (SocialNews.XYZ)The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Reliance Commercial Finance Limited's (RCFL) former Director and Chief Executive Officer Devang Mody, and Reliance Home Finance Limited's (RHFL) former Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Ravindra Sudhalkar, in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Anil Ambani-run Reliance ADA Group cases, the investigative agency announced on Monday. The investigation has revealed that the accused persons diverted funds borrowed by the RCFL and the RHFL to Reliance ADA Group companies, including Reliance Capital Ltd, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, and Reliance Power Ltd, thereby causing a combined wrongful loss of Rs 7,623 crore to the public sector banks, and corresponding wrongful gain to themselves and related entities, the CBI said in a statement.

New Delhi, May 2 (SocialNews.XYZ) A Delhi court on Saturday extended the judicial custody of two former senior officials of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group — Amitabh Jhunjhunwala and Amit Bapna — until May 15 in connection with a money laundering probe linked to Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL). The Special Judge, PMLA, at the Rouse Avenue Courts allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) plea for custodial interrogation, extending the custody. Jhunjhunwala and Bapna were produced before the Rouse Avenue Court following the expiration of their judicial custody. Jhunjhunwala was produced before the Court via video conferencing from jail due to his poor health.

An order was issued on March 11 to attach land parcels in Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said in a statement.
