I think this is where brick and mortar is lapping the socials: rank and file humans out there in America-land are PISSED.

This financial behavior creates a credibility gap. Rank-and-file supporters are often working-class or middle-class individuals who donate modest sums out of genuine belief in the cause. They volunteer time, attend protests, and make personal sacrifices.

The 'corporate Democrats' are owned by the wealthy - get rid of both.

Earlier I posted about a rally happening at 5 PM at 501 N Dixon in PDX at the Portland Public school office.

I took down the post bc I wasn't ok w/ comments that were left on it. If you are interested in more information about the rally to protest the closure of 14 schools, go here:

I recall seeing a thread on a pro-life forum about the chicago March For Life, which PF attended with a banner. The organizers of the event made a point of distancing themselves from PF, and rank-and-file activists on the forum all mocked them and spread rumors about them being leftist plants.

Genuine question perhaps tinged by industry cynicism: how would Windows Central know it has an 'EXCLUSIVE' from 'trusted sources' unless those sources work for Microsoft's comms team?

Rank-and-file employees simply wouldn't be able to provide such a guarantee.

One thing that will happen as a sidebar to this fall’s nonsense will be that these fools will be overthrown by rank and file.

The only problem is that in Michigan the "rank and file" union members are voting magot! They vote for union leaders and then turn their backs on who their leadership show support for!

Amazing how quickly rank-and-file adopt Trump's pro-Putin talking points
RAJU: Is it worth it for your constituents to pay higher prices bc of war in Iran?

MACKENZIE: Fuel prices were sky high under Biden. Now they're starting to come down

R: Diesel is about $3 higher than it was at the beginning of war

M: When refineries are blown up in Russia because of Ukraine ...

With regard to this thread things work slightly different in the UK but this is the same autocratic path Labour went down with its party officers and rank and file, and even MP's. They're not called Tories in red ties for no reason. (Tories are blue in the UK.)

There are quite a few. Trick is trying to figure out who is just grifting, who's just trolling and who's a genuinely evil kunt. The big names make it easy enough, but the rank and file shovel head?

You can see it in their faces as they stand around him, praising him, obeying his every whim. They are secretly terrified. We all know the tactics bullies use to keep compliance among the rank and file.

"In each strike, the order said, officers had the authority to risk killing up to 20 civilians.(.) Mid-ranking officers had never been given so much leeway (.) the military could target rank-and-file militants as they were at home surrounded by relatives and neighbors"

(Those images coincide with when the IDF delegated the highest NAZA numbers—thresholds for expected civilian casualties—to strike cell commanders for strikes on even low-level militants without getting top-level approval: the baseline NAZA number was 20 from 10/7 to mid-Nov, when it was cut to 10.)
Israel Loosened Its Rules to Bomb Hamas Fighters, Killing Many More Civilians (Published 2024)
Surprised by Oct. 7 and fearful of another attack, Israel weakened safeguards meant to protect noncombatants, allowing officers to endanger up to 20 people in each airstrike. One of the deadliest bomb...

Ben covers a lot in this, and some of the arguments are familiar. But not the anti-preselection stuff. We think the spectrum is rank and file ballot-party executive, but interwar conservatives disliked preselections as such.
Today I’m starting something new with the Tally Room podcast: a three-part history podcast looking at the history of OPV in Australia, rolling out over the next 3 weeks. This first episode looks at early debates on preferential voting and how it worked up to 1951. www.tallyroom.com.au/68638

Herbert Sorrell was the fiery, combative leader of the CSU and the central figure behind Hollywood Bloody Friday. Unlike the leadership of the IATSE, which often cut back-room deals with studio moguls, Sorrell championed a confrontational, democratic, rank-and-file style of trade unionism. /3
