Gas utilities are moving fast to supply data centers with on-site power. Bad for our pocketbooks as well as the climate. Time to ensure that policies to prevent cost-shifting by Big Tech protect gas ratepayers as well as electricity ratepayers.

In 2023, three states passed laws to prevent utilities from charging customers for lobbying, advertising, and other political influence activities. Customers have already saved hundreds of thousands of dollars.
