#northumberland countryside with rolling hills. Long grass in the foreground, green hills, and blue sky with faint high white clouds. There's a gate and a style. Sat on the style is a nude white male with one foot on each step, hands resting on the cross bar. He's smiling, looking over the camera into the distance, wearing only a cap and hiking boots. This is what naturism is all about. Enjoying nature in a very natural way, leaving nothing behind and leaving nothing on! My connection with nature is much greater when there is little to separate me from it. The cows and sheep and birds weren't bothered I didnt have anything on. But I do wonder what the Sainsbury's delivery man thought as he drove past early on. Didn't see another soul for the whole 8mile walk. The sun was super hot, so I've got sunscreen on. It was the hottest day of the year so far yesterday (30C) a measly 29C today. I'm much happier when the sun is out.

Hello again ^_^ And welcome to the alt text. So it is that time of the week again where many in the furry fandom celibate fursuit Friday by posting pictures of ourselves dressed as our anthromorphic characters. So here I am dressed in the costume I made myself of my character CaffeineRed which is based on a himalayan red panda. I have superimposed the hand written hash tagged text "fursuitfriday" over my out stretched paws. I have been experimenting a bit with self portrait photography as my character and also with clothing for my character. My characters are an extention of my own personality which for currently lacking a better way to describe as being demifluid (I still see the construct of labels as limiting in there range of expression and understanding). CaffeineRed represents an important part of myself that had through events/experiences I have unfortunately buried away. In part with this I have lost connection with my own voice and understanding of my own internal language. This frequently means that in company where I would often like to speak but a internalised cocktail of self doubt, fear, vunrability, not wanting to impose, it's safer to be unseen/unheard, feeling of disconnection all stews together in to an unpleasant soup of self muting. It is very challenging and daunting but am working on trying to improve myself. I understand self healing takes time and effort and my characters are a part of this process. Making this post, the image and the comments I am making here I see as being a change in myself. Hopefully for the better. I wish you all well.

Cover of”This All Come Back Now” an anthology of First Nations speculative fiction. From footnote 1: Both of these (diverse writers and people of colour) are descriptors I loathe, as they lump all non-white people together in relation to whiteness, and centre whiteness in doing so. This especially disregards ways of belonging to land and community, or not belonging, particularly as a point of difference between First Nations and settler communities of colour. It also euphemistically equates colour with culture, as radical pseudoscience does, and it assumes commonality of experience under white supremacy without factoring in proximity to whiteness or passing as white or similar privileges…

By the way, even though it's a lost cause, I try to give a genuine description in every alt tag for my fractal art. Writing about things that are hard to describe is good practice for thinking about them too.

A fractal tangle with three-part symmetry. Each third is dominated by a twisting red and yellow arrow shape towering over a cityscape of purple and blue shapes, all distorted spherically around a focal point in the far distance. The piece as a whole is busy, but organized at a deep level. It feels energetic with many lines for the eye to follow. It glows in shiny evening colors against a dark background.

I'm also testing out some new clothing ideas for my character. On my profile page the reference sheet of my character can be found in the pinned post. Happy Halloween

One Tawny Frogmouth on a branch from a side view with brown and gray mottled feathers, looking down at the ground from the branch of a gum tree. It was probably only 3 metres away from me. I didn’t see it at first. I was taking the photo of the pair and I noticed it move. Tawny Frogmouth pair snuggled together next to the trunk of a large gum tree on a perpendicular branch draped with stringy bark making it a bit hard to see them. One is looking at me and the larger one on the outer edge of the branch is looking away showing its short beak and feathery nose. Long tail feathers hang down below the branches, shadowed by the stringy bark in front of them. The trunk is gray and cream coloured with lots of brown streamers of bark hanging all around. Blue sky in background.
