It seems you are in remission

I feel like we're all waiting to find out if the cancer has gone into remission.

In remission no less

A small study found promising results using CAR T-cell therapy to treat autoimmune diseases by targeting Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-infected immune cells.

• CAR T-cell therapy: 8 of 12 achieved drug-free remission
• Rituximab: 0 of 15 achieved remission

Promising, but more research is needed.

Wanting to return to 2015 is like hoping your lung cancer goes into remission so you can start smoking again

🧪A new study on Long Covid recovery:

🔹50% of people with Long Covid experienced meaningful symptom improvement within 3 yrs
🔹27% achieved "complete remission"

Sounds promising?! Let's look a bit deeper🧵/1

Its in remission, don't assume it is dead. We hope it is, but we have to remain vigilant.

Do you have remission from Martin Scorsese to post his image?

the only thing i can identify that changed in that timespan is that my depression went into remission

Complete remission?
I don't know any COVID patients who have fully recovered.
I hope its possible.🙏

Vaguely disappointed this isn't actually true, except by a very creative reading:

38. Nevertheless, papal remission and blessing are by no means to be disregarded, for they are, as I have said (Thesis 6), the proclamation of the divine remission.

He's in remission, I read. I hold out hope he lives long enough to see the orange conman imprisoned.

More like a Complete Remission ‘Free of Cancer’ result. 🙏

I had cancer and it made me a huge bitch. I’m also in remission/NED since becoming a huge bitch. Apparently not a coincidence! Thank you infowars for bringing attention to this!

You are in remission. I sincerely hope it holds.

Cancer survivors and those living with cancer speak of their dislike for the "battle" phrasing, but I at least get the impulse to describe conditions that can be treated and put into remission in such a way. Alzheimer's and Lewy Body dementia will never go into remission. There is no battle there.

More concerning is the definition of "complete remission".

Researchers classified participants as achieving this outcome when their LCRI score reached 0 at a single visit.

But the index measures only 11 symptoms, despite Long Covid involving a much broader number. /7

Yes!! I am in remission for now, thankfully, but the experience truly decoupled “healthy” from “skinny” in my brain.

It’s good to see studies on ‘recovery’ in Long Covid, but I’ve yet to see one which addresses relapse. A quarter in this study experienced full remission, but how many then relapse? We don’t know, it isn’t measured.
I had remission for a full year, followed by a year of relapses, I’m not recovered

37 years ago my mum, who was in remission for breast cancer, was told that it was just "anxiety" when she went to the docs. It was a brain tumour, which spread throughout her body. She died 36 years ago because it wasn't treated soon enough. How is this still happening?

Merthyr woman told she had anxiety but it was breast cancer
Beth Jenkins' cancer was initially missed after told she was "too young" to have the disease.

Gout cure (crystal free remission) definition project - Pascal Richette

Rationale: G-CAN defined clinical remission (no flares 12m; no tophi; SU<6mg/dl x2) but imaging may still show MSU crystal deposition
