When you don't have a nostalgic connection to something but think it's that thing's fault.

An unbelievably rewatchable movie, largely because it's paced like the goddamn concorde jet

this sucks. when you're a kid, Jurassic Park is infinitely rewatchable because of the dinosaurs. when you're an adult, Jurassic Park is infinitely rewatchable because Sam is in there putting on a clinic

Fargo is still their best, IMO. But that does not make it their most rewatchable. The Big Lebowski is their most rewatchable film.
So The Big Lebowski is the best Coen Bros movie, right? Are we in agreeance on this?

Over on Whatever, I'm doing a series on movies I consider "Comfort Watches" - not the greatest movies of all time, necessarily, but some of the most rewatchable. I'm starting the series with easily the most rewatchable movie of 2025: K-Pop Demon Hunters!

The December Comfort Watches 2025, Day One: K-Pop Demon Hunters
A couple of years ago I did a series of movie reviews about the movies I enjoy rewatching — not the best movies of all time, or the most important movies, but the ones I’m happy to spen…

The irony here is the shows I find myself rewatching the most (Mad Men, Succession, The Bear, Gilmore Girls) are rewatchable precisely because they're complex
Back in 2019: was told while making Lower Decks that “too much happens in each episode, what if someone watching is making spaghetti and only half paying attention?”

Hear me out: two oscar best picture winners. One for BEST and one for MOST REWATCHABLE of the best picture nominees.

I submit to you that in 2024, Oppenheimer yes was best, but Barbie was most rewatchable. Last year, Conclave was most rewatchable. Best....i dunno but it wasn't Anora. 1/

The Martian is really under appreciated. One of the most rewatchable movies, every performance engaging with every rewatch. A triumph of music rights. And yes, my god, the desert cinematography.

man, 2007-2011 AVGN is so rewatchable

One of the most rewatchable movies ever, there's just something frictionless about it, the pacing and intensity of the action, there's hardly a moment of downtime. Just a great action movie.
How fucking good was this film? Love these two. Love my evil game of thrones lady.

The Benoit Blanc films are insanely rewatchable.

“Star Wars isn’t rewatchable” is such a hilarious take
STAR WARS may be the only movie in which the first time around the surprises are reassuring. (Going a second time would be like trying to read CATCH-22 twice.) (1977)

What a film. Rewatchable. Well made. Excellent performances. Good script.
Rewatching tonight. More than holds up. Ordered the 4k for posterity.

I keep restarting Widow’s Bay from the beginning as each new family member starts watching it, and I gotta say this is one rewatchable show

it’s so endlessly rewatchable. sometimes i just like to focus on the language of the script and the way the actors just perfectly deliver the 19th century diction
