Almost 18 years ago, at my first gig, I had to be pulled from the crowd during Thursday's set opening for My Chemical Romance. Tonight, seeing Thursday at the tender age of 31, I got booted in the head by a crowdsurfer half my age wearing a My Chemical Romance t-shirt. A nice full circle moment.
