Sad to see RideLondon on "pause". We loved seeing FreeCycle families joyously riding through London.

I did the RideLondon 60, a 60 mile bike ride to Essex and back. It was amazing, and satisfying, and very out of character for me. I got a medal for participating and I don’t think I’ve ever had a medal for doing exercise before. I was dead chuffed.

Just remembered that 'Olympic Legacy's #RideLondon is cancelled in 2025.

Even Ford's green washing sponsorship hasn't saved it.

Hess Cycling's next new signing is Kate Richardson who was on Lifeplus-Wahoo when they unfortunately closed earlier this year

She won the Lincoln GP in 2024 and was just beginning to put together some good results before being knocked off by a car driver in June + another crash in RideLondon

This summer my partner and I rode 100 miles to support the charity National Brain Appeal, and specifically their research into brain tumours, at RideLondon.

This piece explains why.

... Also, you must check out Lis's nifty Brain Appeal nails.

I did neither after finishing the RideLondon bike ride on the mall, mostly because I was too busy shouting 'ow, my bollocks' after riding along the surprisingly bumpy roads besides the Thames.

Anyway. #TheDoodle and I have decided to challenge the weather gods and head towards the @RideLondon #FreeCycle with #MPoulet, so give us a wave!

Just for general riding, honestly, not really. I use orange squash in my bottles and get a cake or cinnamon bun on the way round, banana as well. Maybe more for longer rides! Used gels and bars when training for and doing RideLondon but otherwise nah

I've ta'en a scunner tae TCS who took over RideLondon and then abolished it.
