*sighs* So, we switched all our RXs from Walgreens to RiteAid because, in our town, RiteAid is soooo much better in terms of service. Then, our RiteAid was bought by Walgreens. They just announced our RiteAid is closing and our RXs are being sent to a different pharmacy entirely. My brain hurts.

Have you looked at why RiteAid and thousands of independent pharmacies went out of business, and Walgreens was broke before being bought ? Do you understand who creates the horrific economics for non captive pharmacies ? Of course you don't.

Please be nice to pharmacy staff. Most stores are understaffed and overworked, and that was before Riteaid closed and sent a tidal wave of patients to every other outlet. These people help keep us alive.

I am fascinated by games like this. Games you would see at Big Lots for like $3. The dollar bin specials. I remember a local RiteAid having a straight up shovelware section for the longest time filled with DS games.
God, that game was EVERYWHERE... even in the rental section of my local supermarket...

Yesterday, when I asked Google maps for directions to a SPECIFIC ADDRESS, which was the CVS where I had an appointment for a flu shot, it ACTUALLY gave me directions to a nearby RiteAid, ~10blocks away. I was in my car, driving, so this wasn’t a huge distance & I just got my shot at RiteAid… but now
We all laughed at Apple Maps for having errors, but Google Maps now straight up lies to you… for pennies. I’ve switched.

They closed the only RiteAid in my neighborhood because of "shoplifting" so now I can either walk 40 blocks round trip or get in my car and drive to target if I need pepto bismol. 🫤
