With some advocacy, SDOT agreed to fix it! Some consultants drew up a beautiful set of plans and SDOT started moving forward.

Here is Dan Strauss talking about how this taco stand has been the most positive activation of this street corner he has seen in years. SDOT Director Emery confirms SDOT will take an approach of education first with a path to permitting. Tonight SPD shut this stand down citing enforcement by SDOT.
