How many US airports can you think of that actually have a first-class rail connection to center city? To me, the ideal is that you can walk from the terminal and take a train that has a logically direct route to the city. Denver and SLC come to mind. SFO, ORD and Dulles are not horrible. What else?

So like, presumably even if they can’t enter the country at SFO/San Jose, people will still need to enter Silicon Valley. So what, you just make SLC louder and more crowded & this somehow punishes California?

Air France is not giving you directs to CDG from Boise.
And even if you want to let slide the fact that the biggest red state hubs are in blue cities--DFW, SLC, ATL--they cannot pick up all the capacity from LAX, SFO, JFK, EWR, etc.
Again, physics problem.

This weekend, I flew from ABQ through SLC to SFO and then back from SFO through LAX to ABQ, so 4 flights through two major hubs and I saw about 4 people wearing masks, which is no different than any other work trip for me

Denver, SLC, and DCA are the best I've experienced. With SFO, Philly, Dulles, ORD in a level below that. None are like Stockholm or Vienna.
