I translated this sentence that says “astrologers do not exclude considering the sublunary”, but an alternative translation could be “… do not exclude the sublunary gaze”

Learning that sharks substantially predate the North Star is an affront to basic intuitions about the relationship of earth and sky. It fucks up the meaning of the word "sublunary," and forces us to say "we have not compromised our ideals; they always will remain our Shark."

We have until the stars fold,
until darkness softens—
grey, unshaven jowls.

The horizon, a sawtooth snarl of black pines.
Night quivers, its shapes solidifying,
deep gloom gasping
one last livid breath.

A #fleeting, sublunary pleasure.

This is technically a summation of the moons as they were before Oritel was destroyed leaving Ganix to mourn them and their Authority lost from the world. The time of Oritel's death is referred to as the Night of Shattered Sky and irrevocably disrupted Tethys' sublunary and spiritual ecosystems.

Fuck it, it's time for a discography run. Can't say how far I'm going to get today but I'm kicking it off with Thy Catafalque's debut LP Sublunary Tragedies. Two tracks in and I already can't believe I've never checked this out before
