I have read quite a few SEC filings on the history of biotech #acquisitions.
Only remember 1 case, #Mirati-BMS, where the final accepted offer was lower than a prior offer by the eventual acquirer, but in that case there had been a long negotiation lull in between. $SWTX

This position size is way too large considering it quickly goes to zero if there is no deal. My general sizing on special sits / merger arb is to risk 50 to 70 bps so that would be a more appropriate position.
