I’ve only seen Hyeri in moonshine which I feel is a really underrated saeguk that i think I might be the only person who watched it. She was pretty good though.

I followed Filing for Love with The Haunted Palace, which is both paranormal and a saeguk. Features Yook Sungjae, Bo Na, and a stellar turn by Kim Ji Hoon as the king. To be clear, these three are not in a love triangle, instead they are a fun if occasionally reluctant team.

To My Beloved Thief. Another saeguk thats piqued my interest. I have some prob. w/ the acting but the story is solid.
Dropped Spring Fever I couldn't get past ep 3.

I can't explain my drama-watching path...I just get in moods and I *need* to watch a particular type of drama. I was on a heavy chinese costume drama kick, but then I *needed* to watch a modern cdrama next. I am having modern kdrama cravings now?? Lord knows what's next. Saeguk?

Current Kdrama is especially strong on legal, medical, paranormal (including horror), slice-of-life, police procedurals, romance, and historicals (saeguk). Not usually all at once, but sometimes....

Started The Haunted Palace tonight, and enjoyed all the different plot elements! Don't think we've watched a saeguk with supernatural/fantasy elements (other than zombies...) before! And there's clearly a lot of palace drama and politics going on, which is always fun. #THPdrama

What genre of #kdrama do you consider your safe happy place and what genre you don't see anymore? Modern kdrama still have follow the same format, saeguk, romcom, makjang, murder mystery, all the genre spectrums. #MyDearestNemesis is still there, #Karma was there.
