One fun fact about a Democratic win of this magnitude: since we've cleared all the sane swing district Reps (minus Florida, or what passes for sane in Florida) the remaining people like are basically the Westboro Baptist Church/Kingsman church tier psychos. They'll eat each other.
Moving fast: Mike Johnson says he won’t run for Minority Leader, and Punchbowl reports Jim Jordan is already running.
Expect Scalise to run too. Insanely, both will have internal pressures that incentivize them to Trump even harder.

I think it's under-rated that 2008 didn't become a realignment because GWB was immediately out of office right after the financial crisis. The GOP could just memory hole him and reset. Can't do that with Trump, he'll still be an albatross for 2 more years.
