the streetview shot sucks its so overexposed and the only other photo is from 2008 I’m sorry but LOOK HOW THEY MASSACRED HER!!!! to go from that level of ornateness to solid white is a crime. and you had a TWO STORY PORCH!!! a covered second level porch!! and you GOT RID OF BOTH LEVELS? crimes.
a 1910 photo of a gorgeous very decked out queen anne style victorian (i’m pretty sure). it’s got patterns galore and all sorts of spindles and woodwork and fancy shingles and siding and scalloping and a big porthole window in the attic and the side porch is topped with ANOTHER PORCH which probably has a door out from the bedrooms upstairs. UGH!!! streetview same angle of the house today. it’s crazy overexposed so the details are lost but she’s pure white, zero patterns or shingles, the cool porthole window is gone. and the side porch has been totally demolished, both levels, except for a tiny portion of the upper level which just looks like it got enclosed. bad a 2008 real estate listing photo of it from the front. she’s boring as hell why would you do this

Ok but my coworker and I got talking about coastal diving for spearfishing and scalloping and we both revealed we don't have our PADI or diving licenses yet but want them... and no one wants to get them with us...

Standing on a low heavy tree branch, a Cooper's hawk faces the viewer but is looking inquisitively over our left shoulders. S/he has yellow legs and eyes. S/he has a white front heavily streaked with dark brown. The sides of the wings, which are completely dark brown with some gold scalloping can be seen. The bird is backlit which gives a nice splash of sunlight on the left side of her face. The background is a blurry gray, cement river wash.

Those joint patterns in carbonate bedrock are stunning — water exploits every fracture, widening them over millennia through dissolution. What you're seeing is karstification in action. Did you notice any solution pitting or scalloping on the exposed surfaces?

Seen from above, this parasol is pure geometry: sage and deep-green stripes radiating from that little fringed crown, gold trim scalloping the edge. An accessory built like a painting - shade as composition. The wear only makes it more beautiful.

The camouflage is uncommon?

I've seen scalloping of the flying surfaces leading and trailing edges before, like on BO-P to the lower left, but don't think I've ever seen an overall application like this.

ANYWAY what I wanted to post about this morning was the super great Paris Paloma show last night.

I need you to understand this woman brought her own wind machine to perform with and that is the energy I'm taking into fall.
Paris Paloma, a tall blonde woman, is at a microphone on stage performing. She is wearing a black top and maroon skirt and both are lacey and flowey, with long draping lace sleeves. The lighting is red, but with one white spotlight from the side on her. There is a draped curtain behind the stage, scalloping from rigging, and right behind her a large set piece that is a stylized tree. There are only a few branches 5 per side symmetrical, some curving up at the end in, some end in hearts, some end in stars. there is a giant heart at the top, like a christmas tree topper. a masked couple at the show, a man in glasses and a "free palestine" hat, a woman in glasses and a mask and a shirt covered in large butterfly wing designs. She's peaking over his shoulder. You cannot see in the photo, but he is squatting down A LOT for this to be possible. Paris Paloma performing, the lighting is blue, and her hair is being blown around dramatically by a wind machine

A pencil-line sketch of a hobgoblin warrior-wizard stood next to a coloured sketch of a tiefling mage. Both clutch books; the hobgoblin has a shield and scale armour (that's what the scalloping at the bottom is for ;P) The teifling has red horns and eyes, a red spellbook, and dark purple robes with a very dark red-brown cloak. She has pale skin which I'm not entirely happy about and it masks her features. A closer look reveals the purple colours edged in red. She has orange-brown 'copper' bands on her wrists. Her straight black hair is tied back in a low ponytail but I'm trying to make it a bit messier.

When you finally reach Scott Reef, way offshore from the Kimberley, it’s like arriving at an oasis. You can feel the atoll’s influence before it’s even visible. The sea state changes. More fish and dolphins in the water, more birds overhead. Then it rises from the ocean deep, in scalloping white lines of surf over shoals, suddenly too vast to take in. But when you reach the shining calm of the lagoon you see just what a refuge this is. Everywhere you look, startled turtles pop up, manta rays roll and swirl, their black shapes sharp against the rippled white sand below. You haven’t even got into the water yet, and you’re counting off species like the sea-nerd you are. Like any oasis or billabong, Scott Reef is a magnet for biodiversity. It draws life to itself and creates more in return, and the sight of all that vigour erupting at the surface, so far from land, makes your blood fizz. Just beyond the reef wall, everything falls away to the purple abyss. Because you’re quite literally, at the peak of a sea mount.
