Today I had the chance to present and chair a session at @invest-flagship.bsky.social #SciSeminar . So many interesting presentations, discussions, and (re)connections - grateful to be back at my alma mater!

INVEST researchers Héctor Bahamonde, Yuko Mori & Takuya Yanagida described #SciSeminar as a great place to hear about multidisipinary ongoing INVEST research and meet colleagues.

In the #SciSeminar we had in the first parallel sessions series presentations and discussions about Health and Biology, Intergenerational and Within-Family Influences, Social Relationships ad Networks and Social Experiments and Interventions, 13 alltogether.

In the second parallel session series of #SciSeminar the themes were Health and Biology; Migrants, Ethnic Minorities and Integration; Demography and Lifecourse & Socioeconomic Inequality and Wellbeing.

Associate professor Kirsi Peltonen told in #SciSeminar that there are 110 conflicts around the world and actually every war is violation against children. She is doing research about mental health of children exposed to the war. The most important thing is to use evidence based methods in support.
