Great to see Ardtornish Estate using livestock grazing to restore #ScotlandsRainforest. It needs the right level of grazing to develop a varied woodland structure & create space for bryophytes & lichens. Being able to adjust grazing levels is important too. Advice ➡️ buff.ly/RvJxXmM buff.ly/txVfEwh

Lucy joined a @@savebutterflies.bsky.social event last week, learning how two Argyll farms manage grassland for the Marsh Fritillary. Light cattle grazing, uneven tussocky ground and scabious-rich meadows are proving a winning mix for this rare butterfly 🦋

Last month Heather joined volunteers at Torridon NNR to remove invasive western red cedar. After lunch together, we gathered natural materials on a walk round the village and spent the afternoon with Sophie from Our Rainforest Futures making cyanotype and relief prints 🌿
