Update from Shoreline City Hall: we didn’t get a full win on parking reform tonight. But Council voted 6-1 to move on this within 6 months after more “community input.”
Several CMs said that they’d heard a lot of support for parking reform and had “evolved” their thinking. Our advocacy is working!

The best thing Seattleites can do right now to help queer folks is build an absolute shit ton of housing so anyone fleeing oppressive states can afford to move here
NEW: Seattle might declare a civil emergency to help LGBTQ (mostly trans) people fleeing red states, so I looked for a Texas angle. An organizer told me that Texas is #1 among trans people looking to relocate:
