We live in an age of AI-driven data — but what about #PersonalData?

#SelfResearch bridges tech and human experience, uncovering patterns in mood, productivity, and health.

At SRI, we believe Self-Research + AI = the future of personal growth.

At SRI, we don’t chase trends, we build frameworks.
Our work combines:
🔹 Scientific rigor
🔹 Open-source tools
🔹 Human-centered design

That’s why funders, researchers, and explorers come to us. They want quality that lasts.

Imagine #selfresearch shared like #opensource code.
Funders ask: how do you scale it?
Answer: openness.
When methods & tools are open, innovation multiplies.
That’s the future SRI is building.

#Opensource thrives on community. So does #selfresearch.
At SRI, we’re building a space where explorers can:
- Share personal experiments
- Collaborate on open methods
- Co-create the future of #introspectivescience

🌍 Curious? Let’s build it together.

One unexpected effect of logging my life is that I started caring more about my own decisions. Not just what happened, but what I chose, why I chose it, and whether it felt mine. I probably would not have noticed this without continuous input. #LifeOS #DecisionMaking #SelfResearch

It is the difference between left and right.

When the 'left' loses, they will first do selfresearch and see if they must blame themselves for what happened.

When the 'right' loses, they will look for others to blame, never themselves.

What if a simple change in your tracking format led to better insights?

Different prompts. Cleaner layout. Smarter summaries.

At SRI, we focus on the design of inquiry — because better methods → better discoveries.

💬 What’s one change you’d try in your own tracking?

A big reason this self-research system works is input friction. Forms and trackers would kill the habit. With ChatGPT, I can just describe what happened in natural language, and it becomes a log, reflection, and decision data. Low friction makes consistency possible. #LifeOS #AI #SelfResearch

By continuously sending small bits of data, I can see what matters and what does not. A diary format would feel too heavy, but lightweight real-time logging is easy to sustain. The format that keeps friction low becomes the foundation for a personal decision OS. #LifeOS #SelfResearch #DecisionMaking

Status, money, and self-declared intelligence matter less than simple repeatable behavior: talk normally, act, and keep doing it over time. A person with modest ability but three years of consistent action beats noisy brilliance every time. #DecisionMaking #SelfResearch

When a relationship depends on your output but turns on you the moment you stop being useful, that is not trust. It is extraction. The clean answer is not confrontation; it is quiet exit, lower access, and protecting the work that actually matters. #Boundaries #SelfResearch

Current best setup: cut off social noise, run audio from the PC, use the tablet as a mirror display, let scans work in the background, and spend waiting time sleeping or playing games. Solitude is not withdrawal here; it is an efficiency system. #SelfResearch #LifeOS

The real question is how much noise I can remove so I can focus on the work I actually care about. Social contact and feeds only matter if they improve the system. If they drain attention, they are not community; they are operating cost. #Focus #SelfResearch

The only theories worth testing are the ones born from observed facts. External generalities may sound polished, but if they do not emerge from measured experience, they are just noise trying to overwrite reality. Definitions must be earned by data. #DecisionMaking #SelfResearch

The common pattern behind my failures is not the category. It is paying cost without a believable return: money, time, attention, maintenance, or stress. Before committing, the question is simple: what value can this realistically return? #SelfResearch

Information should be pulled, not passively absorbed: first identify the gap, then seek what fills it. Anything flowing in from others without a current purpose is noise. Input must start from my own question. #SelfResearch #DecisionMaking

Games are useful to me only when they work like poker or investing: emotional control, timing, risk, discipline, and clean execution under pressure. Bushido Blade 2 fits that test. Pure entertainment, however fun, does not. #SelfResearch
July 27, 2026 at 6:21 PM
More information is not the edge. The edge is having an operating axis: knowing what matters, filtering noise, and using only what fits the current goal. Without that axis, information becomes drag, not power. #DecisionMaking #SelfResearch
July 27, 2026 at 6:14 PM
Rule from logs: no new game purchases. RE5 is enough for my current research loop. External info is allowed only when it fills a concrete gap in active study. Passive browsing does not expand signal; it expands noise. #SelfResearch #DecisionMaking
July 27, 2026 at 6:18 PM
Game mods have a ceiling. Past that point, they stop adding value and start creating bugs, crashes, and maintenance cost. For me, games need a clear role: RE5 for research, Bushido Blade 2 for control, and Axis V as the rare pure-fun exception. #SelfResearch

The real problem is not information itself, but the temporary urge to consume that information creates. If something does not fit my research axis, discipline, or current problem, it is noise even when it looks interesting. The subject must remain my goal, not the feed. #DecisionMaking #SelfResearch
July 27, 2026 at 6:07 PM
Most recommendations from other people do not survive contact with my actual workflow. The useful information is usually not what drifts into my feed, but what I actively search for because I have a concrete problem, experiment, or goal. Passive input is mostly noise. #SelfResearch #DecisionMaking

Financial stability is a prerequisite for metabolic regulation. You can't run high-performance health software on a crashing system.

How do you protect your mental bandwidth during financial stress?

We’re entering an era where the most meaningful discoveries won’t come from billion-dollar labs, but from individuals studying their own lives with scientific precision.

That’s the heart of #SelfResearch.

A new model of inquiry where people become *participants in their own understanding*.
