Not to put too fine a point on it, but there's a distinction between healthcare CEOs and health insurance CEOs. The former may include people who actually work to provide healthcare. The latter most definitely does not. We should focus our efforts on the worst first.

In 2005, my mom died from cancer, but the real cause was the actions taken by an insurance company 12 years earlier. What happened to her was evil, hard to identify or fight, and hidden from the public by legal mechanisms. Because of that, I have no idea how often it has happened.

They now charge $1651.99 a dose, a 126x markup.
In Germany it is $60 and they still make big profits.
This is privatized medicine... hell.

They do not teach how to “argue with insurance companies” at nursing school.
Yet, as a GI clinic nurse, guess what I spend half of my shift doing? It’s exhausting, time consuming, and takes away from patient care.
