I really, really like shooting this Smith & Wesson Model 327 TRR8. 8 rounds in the wheel is a lot of fun, and it's dead nuts accurate. The rubber grip it came with was fine, but this Pau Ferro Hogue seemed befitting.

Smith & Wesson just released three new revolvers that don't have "the lock:" the Models 10, 19, and 36.

Prediction: in 20 years or so, collectors will start to actively seek out the "lock" guns.

Art Lewis was a well-known Choctaw silversmith who worked under his Indian name Neetha Loosa. He probably made these Smith & Wesson J frame grips in the 1960s, and they look fantastic on this 1958 vintage Chiefs Special revolver.

This 1984 @Smith_WessonInc Model 10 probably spent a few decades on duty. Grip worn nearly smooth from endless draws, but drop some oil in and watch it stack bullets at 25 yards. Peak reliability never goes out of style.

In 1853, the first Smith & Wesson partnership produced several dozen of these "Volcanic" magazine pistols. This is serial number 6—one of the earliest firearms in existence to bear the Smith & Wesson name.

This particular example left the factory on February 21, 1936, and was shipped to Von Lengerke & Antoine in Chicago.

The Smith & Wesson Model 2 "Old Army" was curiously named, as it was never officially adopted by the military. This one dates to 1862 and saw hard use.
