Apparently, G'MIC is now available on the Snap Store! I'm not a big fan of Snap, but if it helps users install G'MIC more easily, that’s definitely great news! 👍

Though I've grown tired of Ubuntu, snaps and the snapstore, and how ubiquitous it is, I do appreciate how Ubuntu has made Linux more accessible to the world AND engages computer manufacturers in a meaningful way. The pre-cert program is a great idea.

It took them years but OBS was finally updated on the snapstore. It only took years for them to update the thing and also rename it to be OBS (unofficial). kek

2. How has snap support been ? Do the KeepassXC and Nextcloud snaps work well ?

I definitely would not say its the best way to distribute desktop software. That still is flatpak.
The fact that containerization is still optional, the strong dependency on canonical and the proprietary snapstore backed is still a huge bummer.
The fact that it covers CLI tools is cool tho.

but not gaming as a priority. Or even gaming focused but can be pivoted to office work or something. And that's just gaming. What if for streaming? Streaming is weird for us, because there's several versions of OBS, and you're going to have a bad time if you pick the wrong one i.e. snapstore
